Archiving Policy

General Principles

Jurnal Pengabdian Rinovasi is committed to ensuring the long-term accessibility, security, and availability of all published articles through digital archiving systems and storage in institutional repositories.

Digital Archiving System

Jurnal Pengabdian Rinovasi uses Open Journal Systems (OJS) as its article management and publishing platform. The system is equipped with digital archiving mechanisms to maintain the integrity and continuity of scholarly records.

Digital archiving is carried out through:

  • Periodic storage on the journal’s server;

  • Regular system and article data backups;

  • Consistent maintenance of article metadata.

Archiving and Preservation Program

To ensure long-term preservation, the journal implements:

  • LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) or similar archiving systems;

  • Replication of article data across multiple storage locations.

This policy aims to prevent data loss resulting from system failures, disasters, or other technical disruptions.

Storage in Institutional Repositories

Authors are permitted and encouraged to deposit the published version of their articles in:

  • Institutional repositories of their affiliated universities;

  • National or discipline-based repositories;

  • Personal or academic repositories,

provided that they:

  • Include full and proper citation of the article;

  • Clearly state that the article was first published in this journal;

  • Do not alter the content of the published article.

Archived Article Versions

The versions of articles that may be archived include:

  • The final published version;

  • The official journal PDF version.

Access and Openness

All archived articles:

  • Are openly accessible;

  • Are not subject to any embargo period;

  • Remain subject to the applicable publication license.
